Smiles!!

Howdy ya'll

Life is great and amazing. I love it here and I have learned so much here. I truly have grown up with Christ. Some of you might have heard some of the drama I had with my roomate.  It was a true struggle and was an eye opener and another moment for me to say to my mother that she was right :) I learned how to be strong and rely on the Lord. God truly works in mysterious ways. I just wish lessons could be learned with a little less heartbreak. The drama actually led me to move out. This is where Gods work was shown. A beautiful home was opened up immediatly and I was able to move in with some wonderful ladies. My dog Melani also was able to move in! Through this struggle I met a wonderful guy named Tyler :) Hes awesome. He is a man of God and he was a great helping me with this. In this process, I pretty much fell for him. Haha if anyone knows me, they know that I never thought I would settle down. I used to say I cant imagine spending the rest of my life with one guy. But now I dont know how I lived without him. Cheesy yes, but its real. I found the one! Or God found him.

Currently I am in a show called Ragtime. It opens this weekend here at Lipcomb. This is taking up all my time. lol but its completly worth it. I have met many different people! I love the show and wish my family and friends could see it! Haha but its to far. My music has been kind of on the back burner but I met an audio engineer and a songwriter and we are starting to make some music. It is going amazingly! My dreams are coming true! School is going great and I love it still. I am super super excited to come home in 12 days :) I get to see Godspell and my family and friends. Oh and homemade food!!!

Howdy!!

Hey everyone! Nothing to exciting going on but I am still going to update! Lately I have been trying to find a normal pattern. I am so busy but I feel as if I am doing nothing. The benefits of doing things you love I guess. I have met alot of great people here and still having the time of my life.
I am partcipating in the musical Ragtime. I did not get to audition because they had their auditons in the fall. Man! I really wanted to show them what I could do. :) Oh well I still love the musical.
Allie told me to put in a section about the language barrier here. Haha did you know they call pop coke? It doesnt matter what brand what flavor it is called coke. The first time I found this out was kind of embarassing. The waiter asked me what kind of coke do you want. I replied well how many different types of coke do you have? I really was confused and this gave an opportunity for my new friends to laugh at me lol oh well!
School is going great. I love how God is taught in class. We are not ashamed here. OH and Lipscomb is church of Christ. Which means no music in their worship. It is taking me awhile to get used to it. I miss the sound of drums and guitar. It is not a personal choice, but we all have to learn ways to love Jesus I guess!

I think that is all that might seem interest into anyone!

Sorry for the Late Reply!! Lots of News!

Hello everyone,

I am sorry that I haven't posted in such a long time. I just got caught up in the life of Nashville. So I left off telling about my audition for rent. That was the longest day of my life! My parents came up and that was the greatest start of the day. Then we unloaded the truck and my car! Crazy busy. Then at 3 I had my audition for rent. It went really well. I got a call back. They said that they loved me but I looked to innocent to play a character in RENT. Ha ha I guess thats a compliment. They are going to keep my resume for future musicals! That is incredible.
  After getting settled, I began to explore my new territory. Nashville is beautiful!! Everyone needs to come visit here! There is always something to do here :) Not only the city is nice but my school is amazing too! I am now a musical theater major and I love everyone that I have come in contact with! The teachers are so inspiring.  The thing I love the most is, we have a chapel for theater students. Every Thursday we all get to praise and worship together! I even have class on Saturdays. Its only dance though. God is working in Nashville
  That is pretty much what has happened the last few weeks in a nut shell. Alot has happened but very few words are coming to my head. I will keep you guys in the loop as much as I can!

Audition :)

It was another great day today. Nashville is so petty and it's hard not to smile at Godas creation. We stop b the hospital to see baby Bree and then went to the YMCA to drop mindy off to lifeguard. Then Mindy's mom Nancy and I went shopping for a dress for Mindy's 48 hour film premiere. It was a nice time to get to know mindy's mom better. Once shopping was done we went home! We started looking for options so I could get my foot in the door. So I found a few auditions. This Sunday at 3:45 I have an audition for RENT!! Yeah :) that day is going to be he tux brccause my parents are coming up and moving me. So prayers that everything goes smoothly and timely :) right now I just need to prepare myself ford the upcoming auditin. At the moment I feel really unprepared. I hope everything falls into place. I'm just so happy that I have my first audition!! As of right now, that's all I have to share! Please leave feedback and words zc of knowledge. Also, I just want to apologize for any grammatical errors. I am on my iPhone now untily parents come up! Please bear with me!

In Nashville

K first I want to say sorry for not writing on my first night here. As you can imagine it was a little crazy. Bad news not famous yet lol. In my mind I thought I would walk offend airplane and I would have a record and a couple fans under my belt hehe. Just to let you know that dream did not come true. Yesterday was crazy! I get off the plane and there was my friend Mindy. We went crazy. Just a loud welcome i guess. So on the way to her house she told me all of her great plans coming up and they are big! Check out the ramkis! Then she informed me that her sister was being induced at the hopsital. Sho we rushed over there and chatted with the mom to be. After the hosptial I saw another of my butler friends who has moved up here. Her ne is heather and is attending mtsu. So mindy, Heather and I decided to go out on the town. It wasn't too long until we realized how tired we were. Then we headed back and caught up about old times. We fell asleep and was awoken with a phone calling saying her sister was fully dialated! So today bree was born! It went smoothly!! After the excitement we headed down to green hills an did some window shopping!!!

Now we are dinner! I will keep you posted!!

Hi!!

Ok so this is going to be my new blogsite!! The other site was a little difficult for others to comment/work! So this is the new one :)
  So it is one in the morning and Dad and I are driving to Kansas City at 6 in the morning. I should really be sleeping but so many emotions are going through my head: Excitement, Nervousness, and Sadness. This is the last night in my house and its kind of sad. I wont be back here until Thanksgiving. Funny how the things you pass by are noticed more when you are leaving. I will miss this house and the people in it! It is going to be hard to communicate with my support system. Thank goodness for technology :
  Another reason I cant sleep is, because Cheers is on. Great show, but wasting my sleep. I should really go to sleep now. If I go on anymore, my writing might not make any sense.
